Senior Education Ministries Inc. has scheduled the monthly Dine with a Doc program for Monday, June 25 from 10 a.m. to noon at Putnam County Hospital, 1542 Bloomington St., Greencastle.

Dine with a Doc is a free program that welcomes the local senior public to hear an educational topic while enjoying a complimentary lunch.

The program is a collaborative effort of a doctor -- in this case diagnostic radiology specialist Dr. Frederick McFall Jr. -- a lunch sponsor (Mill Pond Health Campus), senior citizens, local churches and area businesses.

Each doctor donates his or her time in effort to listen, hear and answer medical questions while sharing a meal with attendees.

Dine with a Doc was designed to allow seniors to get out of their homes and fellowship with peers, promote enhanced living and educate them (from a preventative standpoint) with the goal of improving their quality of life.

Dr. McFall, a diagnostic radiology specialist in Danville, has been practicing for 31 years. Additionally, he practices at Putnam County Hospital. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1983.

A question-and-answer period will follow McFall’s presentation.

Various health care providers will be present to share information about their services and provide door prizes.

Hickory Creek at Sunset will offer a complimentary wellness clinic (blood pressure screening) during the event.
