Storm Clouds Gather

As the city prepares for the coming storm around 5 p.m. Tuesday, an ominous cloud rears its head in the area of the Goodwill store. The deluge dropped .29 inches of rain on the city in about 30 minutes, bringing total rainfall for June to more than three inches. Such quick-hitting weather is to be expected given the recent heat wave, as temperatures reached 90 degrees for the fourth straight day on Tuesday.
