One summons and one citation were issued recently by Greencastle City Police officers.
• At 7:12 p.m. Thursday, Cortenie Worland, 31, Greencastle, was issued a summons by GPD Officer Brad Hiatt.
Stopped on Indianapolis Road, Worland was cited for an infraction of driving with a suspended license.
• At 1 p.m. Wednesday, Lacey Crawford, 25, Greencastle, was cited by Capt. Chris Jones.
Stopped on Shadowlawn Avenue, Crawford was ticketed for operating with an expired license plate (March 28, 2017).
The Greencastle Fire Department responded to one recent dispatch.
•At 9:07 a.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched to 202 E. Washington St. in reponse to an overheated motor. They arrived at 9:18 a.m. and found that a machine belt had burned up and emitted an electrical smell.
They left the scene at 9:29 a.m.
Additonally, GFD had one dispatch that was disregarded.
