Marilyn loved to garden, especially flowers and herbs. She enjoyed traveling and classical music.

She took great joy in having her family around her, hosting family gatherings and making holidays special and memorable for her family. She was resourceful and frugal, saving and recycling before it was popular to do so.

She was very proud of the character and accomplishments of her grandchildren. Marilyn was a devoted mother and she always put the needs of her family ahead of her own.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Don, and their two daughters, Ann (Steve) White and Alison (Bob) Beaudry; five grandchildren, Raquel (Evan) Dagit, Reese White, Sophia (Josh) Haywood, Kelsey Beaudry and Arden Beaudry; a brother, Herschel Asher; and sister, Pat Cline Harney.
