BRAZIL -- The Brazil Concert Band and director Matthew S. Huber will take the audience on Vacation Across America Sunday, July 15.

Among those trips is a visit to Los Angeles in “La La Land” arranged by Michael Brown with “Another Day in the Sun,” “City of Stars” and “The Fools Who Dream.”

No trip to New York City is complete without going to Broadway to see “Phantom of the Opera” arranged by Warren Barker.

In Kansas visit “Solomon Valley” home of composer Robert Dillon and try to wake up your kids during that long car ride in “Slumberland Suite” by Bill Laas.

Take your college-bound students to visit the “University of Illinois” by John Philip Sousa, check out Northwestern University’s “Purple Carnival” by Harry Alford and even go south of the Ohio River to a “Barn Dance” from “Songs of Old Kentucky” by Brant Karrick.

Check out the Western United States with Fred Jewell’s “The Westerner” and on your way go to “An Arkansas Huskin’ Bee” by Arthur Pryor.

Head down through the Southern states with Russel Alexander and his march “The Southerner” whom he named for his wife.

Finally, just stay at home here in Indiana and play with your dog in “The Whistler and His Dog” by Pryor.
