Homers for pups

The Hitting Zone in Terre Haute sponsored South Putnam junior catcher Drew Bratcher this spring with a $20 donation to the charity of her choice for each home run the Eagle standout hit. Bratcher finished the year with a school single-season record of nine home runs. Jeff Anderson and Mike Johnson matched the Hitting Zone’s donation, and Bratcher was able to donate $560 to the Terre Haute Humane Society this week. She is pictured with Fred Strohm of the THHS.
