Ivy Tech hosting enrollment events for fall semester at Greencastle campus

Ivy Tech Community College will be hosting two Express Enrollment events at its Greencastle campus, located at 915 S. Zinc Mill Rd.

Fall semester classes begin Aug. 20 and the deadline to register is Aug. 13.

The events will take place on Tuesday, July 31, from 11 a.m. -- 7 p.m. and then again on Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. This service makes it convenient to complete enrollment steps and register for classes at Ivy Tech in one day.

Those interested in attending the enrollment event are encouraged to RSVP and learn more at www.ivytech.edu/enrollmentday. To meet the assessment requirement, attendees can bring in their SAT/ACT/PSAT scores, high school transcript, college transcript, or take an assessment called the ACCUPLACER if needed.

Ivy Tech Greencastle offers programs in General Education Transfer Core, Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain Management and Nursing. Most courses transfer to degrees at other Ivy Tech campuses and to four-year colleges and universities. Student services, such as academic advising, are offered on campus as well.

The campus also offers the Associate Accelerated Program (ASAP). ASAP is a fast-paced program that provides wraparound support from mentors and peers, giving students the support they need to complete a degree in just one year. ASAP students can also take advantage of Ivy Tech's tuition costs, the lowest in the state.
