JENNA JONES of Greencastle was among more than 3,900 students from Miami University who received degrees during spring commencement exercises Saturday, May 19 at Millett Hall

Jones graduated with a MA degree, majoring in educational psychology.

Considered one of eight original “Public Ivies” in the country, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio.

DePauw University will soon welcoming six local students to campus as members of the class of 2022.

Local students attending the university will include ABEL BATES of Cloverdale, LIAM GUINEE of Greencastle, MATTHEW HYLTON of Poland, TYCE JACKSON of Cloverdale, TYLER KAEFF of Poland and TRINITY RAIRDON of Cloverdale.

AUTUMN R. GLAZE of Greenastle was recently named to the scholastic honor roll for the spring 2018 term at Oregon State University.

A freshman, Glaze had a straight-A average in the animal sciences program.

A total of 1,361 students earned straight-A honors.

To be on the honor roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.

ZANE YON was among the 417 students at Manchester University on the spring 2018 dean’s list.

The South Putnam graduate is a double major in sports management and business management.

The dean’s list students achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher while enrolled in at least 12 credit hours of classes this spring.
