Camp Friend 5K challenge on Sept. 8

Camp Friend will be sponsoring a 5K wilderness walk/run challenge on Sept. 8 to help raise funds for revitalizing the grounds and to build new facilities.

The fee is $20 per adult for pre-registration and $25 the day of the race. Children 12 and under can participate $15 and $20.

Registration will include a T-shirt. Additional adult T-shirts can be purchased for $14 and $11 for children at pre-registration.

Awards will be given for first, second and third place in separate age categories, along with a special award for the fastest family.
