New DNR hunting guide available online and in print
A new guide to hunting and trapping in Indiana is available now, online, at hunting.IN.gov.
The printed version of the 48-page Indiana Hunting and Trapping Guide will be available free of charge at the Natural Resources Building at the Indiana State Fair, and at various retailers that sell hunting licenses and equipment, and at many DNR properties.
Look for the bobwhite quail on the cover, a nod to the being the “Year of the Bird.”
In addition to all the rules and regulations sportsmen need, the guide features articles on the Grasslands, Gamebirds and Songbirds Initiative, two new surveys for deer hunters, hunters funding conservation and recreation, managing quail at Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area, and more.
