Monday, August 20, 2018

The Putnam County Public Library’s longest running book club is celebrating 20 years of literary enlightenment on Monday, Sept. 10 with an open house.

Beginning at 5 p.m. the group will hold a social hour for new and old members alike. Drinks and appetizers will be served.

Participants are then invited to join the library for a showing of the movie adaptation of this month’s book selection, “The Zookeeper’s Wife” by Diane Ackerman. The film begins at 6 p.m.

Current members are encouraged to bring a friend, and all are welcome. Copies of this month’s book are available at the Reference Desk.

The library is located at 103 E. Poplar St., Greencastle.
