Following its season debut last Thursday, Jazz at The Duck will be back at The Fluttering Duck on Thursday, Sept. 13 featuring Jacob Duncan.

A multi-instrumentalist, Duncan is a Louisville native who has played all over the world.

His musical inclinations balance a spiritual, intuitive bent with a studied and informed understanding of a wide variety of styles.

On drums will be Brian Yarde, who hails from Barbados and now makes Indianapolis his home, and Steve Snyder of Greencastle on organ.

Jazz at The Duck takes place from 8:30-10:30 p.m. on most Thursdays when DePauw University is in session at The Fluttering Duck bar, inside the Inn at DePauw, 2 W. Seminary St., Greencastle.

Other September Jazz at The Duck performances will include Latin jazz night on Sept. 20 and a jam session on Sept. 27.

Jazz at the Duck is sponsored by The Fluttering Duck, The Inn at DePauw, the DePauw University School of Music, the DePauw University Public Occasions Committee and the DePauw Office of Facilities Management.
