County Jail

Five people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Tuesday

• At 10:25 a.m. Tracie Lynn Hausdorfer, 47, Gosport, was booked in on a local warrant.

Monday

• At 6:52 p.m. Dalton Cole Perryman, 28, Martinsville, was lodged at the jail on a court order.

• At 2:36 p.m. Johnnie Christopher Brown, 31, Cloverdale, was taken into custody on a court order.

• At 1:16 p.m. Bradley Alan Bryan, 38, Greencastle, was housed at the jail for criminal confinement, domestic battery and interfering with a 911 call.

• At 8:58 a.m. Roger Patrick Lopez, 48, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

City Police

Two arrests were reported in recent activity by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 12:16 p.m. Monday, Zackary Jacob Eaglin, 31, Gosport, was arrested by Officer Kyle Lee at the McDonald’s property on Indianapolis Road.

Eaglin was lodged in the Putnam County Jail on a Clay County warrant for burglary.

• At 3 p.m. Sept. 9, Ryan Wilson, 42, Stilesville, was arrested by Officer Lee in the 1200 block of Castlebury Drive.

Wilson was booked into the Putnam County Jail on an outstanding Owen County warrant.

Meanwhile, two citations were issued recently by Greencastle officers.

• At 11:13 a.m. Tuesday, Tina Sanders, 33, Rosedale, was ticketed by Capt. Chris Jones.

Stopped on Putnamville Street near Veterans Memorial Highway, Sanders was cited for an infraction of driving with a suspended license.

• At 12:09 a.m. Sunday, Justin Stovall, 51, Greencastle, was ticketed by Officer Luke Brown.

Stopped on North Jackson Street near Jacob Street, Stovall was cited for an infraction of driving with a suspended license.

Sheriff’s Department

Putnam County sheriff’s deputies investigated one recent property-damage crash.

• At 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Kent A. Hathorn, 54, Cloverdale, was northbound on County Road 275 East in a 2017 Ford Fiesta when a deer ran into the driver’s side front end of the vehicle.

Deputy Randy Patrick estimated damage at $2,500-$5,000.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to three recent dispatches at 208 E. Olive St.:

•At 11:05 p.m. on Monday, GFD was dispatched for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 11:09 and determined that the alarm was activated due to cooking. The alarm was then reset. GFD left at 11:22 p.m.

•At 1:13 a.m. on Tuesday, GFD was dispatched there again for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 1:18 a.m. but could not determine the cause of the alarm. The alarm was again reset. GFD left at 1:25 a.m.

•At 2:08 a.m. on Tuesday, GFD responded to another fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 2:11 a.m. but could not determine the alarm’s cause. The alarm was then reset again. GFD left at 2:14 a.m.

Additionally, GFD performed four medical assists and had one disregard around this time.
