Putnam Scanner for September 22, 2018

One person was booked in the Putnam County Jail on Thursday.

• At 5 p.m. Joni Elizabeth Bible, 38, Greencastle, was booked in for battery against a public safety officer, bribery, resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct, unlawful use of 911 service and public intoxication.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to one recent dispatch:

•At 10:18 p.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched to 503 S. Jackson St. for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 10:23 p.m. but could not determine a cause. The alarm was then reset.

GFD left the scene at 10:27 p.m.

Additionally, GFD performed five medical assists before that time.
