Jerry Collett

Jerry Collett, 73, of Rockville, and formerly of Belle Union area, passed away early on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born June 22, 1945 in Hyden, Ky., he was the son of Frank and Edith (Sizemore) Collett.

Jerry was a 50-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He also owned and operated his own semi for several years.

He married his wife of 53 years, Dawn Griffith, and she survives.

Other survivors include his daughters, Melisa Bundy and Laura S. Collett; grandsons Brady Bundy, Kedrick Collett and Brandon Hughes; great-grandsons Landon Bundy and Aiden Bundy, sons of Destiny Saul Bundy and the late Brett Bundy; brothers Zenas Collett Sr. (Phyllis), Eugene Collett (Sue) and Grant Collett (Brenda); sisters Freda Ward (A.C.), Beulah Mobley (Pat); brothers-in-law Paul Kilborne and Daryl Arnold; wife's brother, Bill Griffith (Judy); several nieces and nephews.

His parents, sisters Wilma Kilborne and Glenda Gail Arnold; brother-in-law Sheldon Bunch, father-in-law Estil Griffith and mother-in-law Louise Griffith preceded him in death.

There are no services per his request.
