Derrick Eugene Wells

Derrick Eugene Wells, 36, of Greencastle, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018.

Derrick was born in Greencastle on Dec. 13, 1981, the son of Allen and Deena (Everts) Wells.

Mr. Wells worked for several years with AHW John Deere in Crawfordsville as a small engines repair technician.

He enjoyed fishing and watching his son play baseball.

Survivors include his parents; his wife, Stephanie Wells, Greencastle; his son, D. J. Wells, Greencastle; a brother, Matthew Wells; a sister, Jessica Hogan, (husband Jeremy); and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Burial will follow in Coatesville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service on Monday.
