Charlotte Ann Gram

Charlotte Ann Gram, daughter of Walter Glen Hammond and Iva May Davis Hammond of Greencastle passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018.

Charlotte was a 1949 graduate of Greencastle High School.

She married Soren James Gram on May 21, 1950.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Cathy Lowery; a son, Gary Gram (wife Lyn Gram); a grandson, James Gram (wife Lacey Gram); two granddaughters, Kinley and Brooklynn; a brother, Herschel Hammond; a sister, Mary Craig; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer Hammond (wife Wanda), and Charles (wife Josephine); and a sister, Margaret Southwood.

She loved spending time with her family and friends, playing golf and bridge, traveling, gardening and crossword puzzles.

Charlotte and Jim owned and operated Progressive Printing for 50 years. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

An open house celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 30 from 2-4 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 202 S. Indiana St., Greencastle.

In lieu of flowers, persons can make a donation to Greencastle High School Alumni Scholarship in memory of Charlotte Hammond Gram to Putnam County Community Foundation, 2 S. Jackson St., Greencastle, IN 46135.
