Softball fundraiser set for Saturday

A softball tournament to benefit breast cancer research is slated this Saturday at the Big Walnut Sports Park.

At least six teams will compete to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, an organization that educates about breast cancer and provides free mammograms for women.

All of the money raised from the event will go toward supporting the foundation.

The event has been organized and planned by local resident Cory Huff.

The tournament is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.

The public is invited to watch the game, and donations are appreciated. Food will also be available at the event.
