Putnam County sports notes on football tickets, schedule changes

Here are a few upcoming changes and announcements regarding Putnam County athletics:

• South Putnam is selling tickets for Friday night’s home regional football game with Indianapolis Lutheran in the school’s athletic office daily after 8 a.m. Tickets are $8. Regular all-sports passes or season tickets are not valid for IHSAA tourney events.

• Cloverdale’s girls’ basketball game at Clay City on Tuesday night is varsity only at 6:30 p.m.

• South Putnam’s girls’ basketball games on Tuesday night will be played at Parke Heritage High School (the former Rockville High School building, not the “Rockadome” at the elementary school). The street address is 506 N. Beadle St.

• South Putnam’s girls’ basketball games at Edgewood have been moved up from Friday to Thursday this week due to the Eagles hosting the football regional game on Friday.

• Cloverdale has added a girls’ basketball game next week not on its original schedule. The Clovers will play at Danville, ranked No. 7 this week in Class 3A, on Nov. 13 with normal starting times of 6 p.m. for junior varsity and approximately 7:30 p.m. for varsity.
