Silver Linings adds PCPL performance to fall schedule

Wednesday, November 7, 2018

The Silver Lining Players, a script-in-hand senior readers theater, will carol and present “The Gift of the Magi” at the Putnam County Public Library at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 11.

When the group began, it met at the library, so the Dec. 11 event is a homecoming of sorts for the troupe.

The public, family and friends are invited to all upcoming performances, which include:

-- Nov. 29, Summerfield Health Care Center, Cloverdale, 2 p.m.

-- Dec. 4, Asbury Towers, Greencastle, 1:30 p.m.

-- Dec. 6, Exceptional Living Center of Brazil, 2 p.m.

-- Dec. 10, The Waters of Greencastle, 2:30 p.m.

-- Dec. 11, Putnam County Public Library, Greencastle, noon.

-- Dec. 14, Hickory Creek at Sunset, Greencastle, 2:30 p.m.

-- Dec. 18, Autumn Glen, Greencastle, 2 p.m.

-- Dec. 20, Mill Pond Health Campus, Greencastle, 2 p.m.

The above performances are the final ones of the 2018 season for the fledgling troupe, which offered “sincere thanks” to the nursing homes in Putnam and Clay counties, as well as the Putnam County Museum (Silver Linings’ present home) and the Putnam County Public Library for their support.
