College scares up support for annual Ivy Boo event

To the Editor:

Ivy Tech Community College extends its sincere gratitude to the following businesses for their generous sponsorship of the Second Annual Ivy Boo community event held on Friday, Oct 12.

American Association of University Women, AVI, Casey’s General Store, First National Bank, Grateful Pie, Greencastle Fire Department, Habitat for Humanity, Headley Hardware, Indiana Humanities Council, Ivy Tech Student Life, Ivy Tech Student Nursing Association, Meijer, Monical’s, Myers’ Market, Papa John’s, Paranormal Investigation and Observation Team (P.I.O.T.), Putnam County Public Library, Putnam Inn, Putnamville Correctional Facility, RTM Unique Gifts, S.P.I.R.I.T. Paranormal, Starbucks and Walmart.

Ivy Boo is a free event held annually on the Greencastle campus. Despite the rain, hundreds of guests turned out for academic lectures, trick-or-treating, door prizes, book giveaways, hot dogs, pizza, and more.

Again, the Ivy Tech team sincerely offers a hearty “Thanks” to all sponsors, campus volunteers and stakeholders. We could not have done it without you.
