Baskets for Veterans

Local veterans got a nice surprise this Veterans Day thanks to coordinated efforts by Elks Lodge 1077 and Heartland Automotive. On Sunday, members of the lodge distributed 37 baskets filled with goodies funded to thank them for their service. Displaying a few of those baskets are (from left) Elks Exalted Ruler Scott Dismukes, Katie Barger, Becky Wallace, Heartland Automotive Executive Vice President Ronan Miot, Danny Wallace and Heartland’s Ritsuko Abrams. Heartland Automotive also made a donation to the Indiana Veterans Home in West Lafayette.
