FOP Santa Drop efforts under way to assure merry Christmas for all

It’s time again for the annual Fraternal Order of Police Santa Drop.

The Putnam County Fraternal Order of Police would like the public’s help in making sure that children of Putnam County receive toys at Christmas.

If you would like to help, monetary donations can be dropped off at the Greencastle Police Department or mailed to Greencastle Police Department at 600 N. Jackson St., Greencastle, IN 46135.

Applications are thoroughly screened and sorted with the most needy kids at the top of Santa’s list.

FOP members assist Santa in making the proper purchases and the presents are then wrapped and delivered by Santa Claus.

If you know someone who is in need, applications can be picked up at the Greencastle Police Department during normal business hours.

The deadline for dropping off applications is Dec. 10.
