Realtors raise $5,000 with latest bingo

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Putnam County Board of Realtors I would like to thank everyone that attended our Fall Bingo Event on Saturday, Nov. 10. It was our biggest and best event – raising more than $5,000 with over 190 in attendance and lots of cash prizes awarded.

The Putnam County Board of Realtors Scholarship fund was the biggest winner of the night, with proceeds from this event supporting scholarships to each of the four Putnam County high schools.

I would especially like to thank our event sponsors for the bingo: Aames Title, Abstract and Title of Putnam County, AmeriFirst Home Mortgage, Caliber Home Loans, Collins Evans Real Estate, Daniel Builders, Michael Dean - Carpenter Realtors, Farm Credit Mid-America, First National Bank, Hayes Murphy Sharp Brackney Insurance, Home Bank, James Knoebel – FC Tucker Schneider Realty, McCloud Electric, North Salem State Bank, Prime Real Estate Group, Quality Title Service, RE/MAX Cornerstone Realty, Ruoff Home Mortgage, F.C. This event would not be possible without those that helped organize the event, set up tables, chairs and equipment before and after the event, plus those that volunteered their time, talents and resources. We greatly appreciate all those that donated door prizes and concession items as well.

Thank you to our members that volunteered their time the night of the bingo – Jana Brothers, Gina Carter, Tyler Cox, Steve Jones, James Knoebel, Mary Looper, Cindy Mattox, Laura Monnett, Sue McCune, Paul Nauman, Mary Ann Pearson, Jeff Rich, George Schneider, Suzy Schneider, Chris Skillern, Cecil VanArsdale and Chasity Wood. We also appreciate those that assisted us with setup, those members that came out to play, and everyone that stayed after the event to help us clean-up.

Any Putnam County high school senior who wishes to apply for a scholarship in 2019 can go to http://www.putnamcountyboardofrealtors.com to print an application. Applications will also be made available through the Putnam County high schools as well. Deadline is March 15, 2019.
