Joseph H. Alenduff Sr.

Joseph H. Alenduff Sr., 88, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018.

He was a former resident of Bainbridge, but relocated to St. Petersburg, Fla., 25 years ago.

He is a Korean War veteran and longtime member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Joseph retired from Conrail after 33 years.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Patricia A. (Johnson); one sister, Bert Thrush and husband John of Bowling Green, Ky.; four children, Joe Jr. and wife Karla of Coatesville, Suzie Matthews and husband Patrick of St. Petersburg, Fla., David Alenduff and wife Tammy of Jasper, Ga., and Jana Allenduff of Atlanta, Ind.; eleven grandchildren, Matthew Alenduff of Largo, Fla., Thomas Joyce (TJ) wife Lana of Roachdale, CPO Diana Davison of Virginia Beach, Va., Jessica Hamlett husband Alex of Parker, Colo., Ashlee Alenduff of Lafayette, Zach Willingham of Jasper Ga., Doug Matthews of Hastings, Mich., Marie Matthews and husband Ian Buhl of Portage, Mich., Andrew Matthews of Michigan, Taylor Matthews and wife Janna of Germany and Jeffery Matthews and wife Cassie of Oklahoma City; and seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by all of us who knew and loved him.

Memorial service will be held at Palm Lake Christian Church, Saint Petersburg, Fla.,on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. All who knew him are welcome to attend.
