What a Sight!

Tuesday, December 18, 2018
An enchanted forest has taken over the courtyard of the historic Cole Apartments along East Washington Street, with reindeer, trees and a pond blending to create a colorful sight. The display is organized by co-owner Kathy Ferrand, who says that she does it to share in the Christmas spirit. Ferrand has staged the scene ever since she and her husband Kenny bought the building in 2016, and she says it will continue to grow each year. The display lights up at 5 p.m. and turns off at 2 a.m., during which visitors are welcome to sit in nearby benches and take it all in.
