Phillip Richard Mobley

Phillip Richard Mobley, 88, of Roachdale, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 surrounded by family.

He was born Nov. 19, 1930 in Indianapolis, the son of Everett and Lilly (Beyl) Mobley. He had served and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Phillip had retired from the Carrier Corp., where he had worked for several years.

He was a member of the Charity Baptist Church in Indianapolis.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved his family, neighbors and church family.

He is survived by his son, Kevin (wife, Terry) Mobley; three grandchildren, Phillip Mobley, Kayla Mobley Rhodes and Kristen Freund; four great-grandchildren, Marin, Marley, Molly and Cole; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beatrice Mobley; a daughter, Kimberly Freund; granddaughters, Katie and Ashley Freund; and eight siblings.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at the Charity Baptist Church 3470 N. High School Rd., Indianapolis, with Rev. Leo Mejai officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Phillip's memory to the Calvary Baptist Church.
