Anna 'Beth' Glover Fordice

Anna "Beth" Glover Fordice, 76, of Russellville, passed away at her residence on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018. Beth is in heaven after a short battle with leukemia.

She was born on Feb. 20, 1942 at Danville, Ill., to Albert and Helen "Louise" (Dimmich) Glover.

She graduated from Covington High School in 1960 and then became an LPN.

She then married J. Carroll Fordice in 1965. Together they worked raising livestock and farming.

Beth was a member of the Russellville Community Church where she spent time volunteering. She worked in prison ministry for many years.

She loved singing with her family and church choir. God, family, nature, church family and farming were her priorities.

Beth loved mushroom hunting, watching football, gator rides and Arni's Pizza. She lived for and loved being outside.

She is survived by her husband, J. Carroll Fordice; daughters Sue (Mike) Lawson of Russellville and Mary Ferretti of North Salem; mother Helen "Louise" Glover; brothers Bill Glover and Bob Glover; and sister Brenda Glover.

She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Glover, and sisters Becky Glover and Betty Rouse.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3 at Russellville Community Church, 103 Third St., Russellville. Rev. Alan Small will officiate. Burial will follow at Portland Mills Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2 at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Trustees and Outreach Funds at Russellville Community Church.
