Antique Tractor group to have banquet Jan. 12 at museum

The Putnam County Antique Tractor and Machinery Association will have a banquet for its first meeting of the year on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 6 p.m.

The event, which will include new officer election announcements, will be hosted by the Putnam County Museum, 1105 N. Jackson St., Greencastle.

Myers’ 5 East will cater the event, serving the Old Trail Inn menu. Dinner is $12 per person (kids six and under eat free).

Reservations are due by noon Monday, Jan. 7. To reserve seating and dinner, persons may contact Lisa Mock at the museum, 653-8419.

The association was created for those with an interest in antique machinery while intending to educate the public on our county’s rich agricultural history.

Its regular meetings are the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Putnam County Museum.
