Turkey Run State Park to host bird weekend

MARSHALL -- On Jan. 25-27 Turkey Run will host a weekend where visitors can learn all about all different types of birds, including raptors, songbirds and others.

There will be live birds of prey programs, multiple eagle viewing tours, owl prowl night hikes and songbird banding led by a researcher.

A silent and live auction will be conducted by the Friends of Turkey Run and Shades State Park during the weekend.

All of the proceeds go toward Turkey Run and Shades state parks.

Standard park entrance fees of $7 per in-state vehicle and $9 per out-of-state vehicle may apply.
