Gleaners Goodies

Passing out a variety of food to Putnam County seniors, Gleaners representative Dick Sullivan and local volunteers serve more than 110 residents Thursday morning at the Greencastle National Guard Armory. The next Gleaners senior event is scheduled for Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, at the Armory. Persons 55 and older need to bring identification and their own bags or boxes. Meanwhile, the next monthly Gleaners event at Bainbridge, which is open to all regardless of age, is set for 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 26 at the Community Center.
