Farm Bureau accepting scholarship applications

Putnam County Farm Bureau is now accepting student scholarship applications for 2019.

To be eligible, the student must be the child of a Putnam County Farm Bureau Inc. member.

Membership in the Putnam County Farm Bureau must have been carried for at least two years prior to the application and must be in good standing at the time of presentation. She or he must be a high school senior enrolled in an approved/accredited college or university or be a full-time student attending an approved/accredited college or university.

“As a former ag teacher and FFA adviser along with being a school board member for over 23 years I am extremely pleased that our board chooses to honor, support and encourage our youth to further their education,” Putnam County Farm Bureau Inc. President Steve Cash said. “We look to continue our support for many years allowing our local graduates to gain the knowledge needed to become successful members of our community, our state, and our world.”

Access to the application can be found at infb.org and are due no later than March 1.
