Daniel S. Newton Sr.

Daniel S. Newton Sr., 49, of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019.

He was born June 5, 1969 in Terre Haute to William and Judith (Waldbeiser) Newton.

He married Jill (Robinson) Newton on Aug. 7, 2004, and she survives.

He was employed by Endeavor Communications and loved sports, hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Daniel Newton Jr. and Mary Coons; one grandchild, Annabelle Coons; siblings Bill Newton and wife Angela, Patrick Newton and wife Jody, and Brandon Newton and wife Jessica; father- and mother-in-law, Rick and Jackie Robinson, and his brother- and sister-in-law, Cory and Dara Robinson; nine nephews, two nieces and his fur babies, Gus, Annie and Libby.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the South Putnam High School girls' basketball program, 1780 E. U.S. 40, Greencastle, IN 46135.
