For demonstrating honesty, Greencastle High School students Mastayzia McCord and Trey Wood have been acknowledged as Character Education Program Star Students for December at GHS. Presenting $25 gift cards to the two are Student Star co-sponsors Lisa Duggan (left) and GHS Assistant Principal Yolanda Goodpaster. McCord, a freshman, and Wood, a senior, were among multiple nominees for the monthly Student Star honor submitted by GHS teachers and staff. The $25 monthly award is funded by Balfour, the company which provides graduation items, including caps and gowns, to the high school.
