Barbecue fundraiser set for youth basketball

A barbecue fundraiser and silent auction are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 23 to benefit the Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department Youth Basketball Program.

The event is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Deer Meadow Primary School cafeteria.

The menu includes pulled pork sandwiches from Hog-N-It-All Barbecue with baked beans, cole slaw, chips and drinks (water or canned pop). Cost of the meal will be a free-will donation.

Among the silent auction items up for bid are two Indiana Pacers autographed basketballs, six antique Coke bottles, two porcelain dolls from the Heritage Mint Collection and more.
