Harold E. Alexander

Harold E. Alexander, 78, of Greencastle, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019.

He was born July 8, 1940 in Putnam County to the late Edward and Julia (Brown)Alexander.

He married Marlene (French) Alexander on Feb. 23, 1962 and she survives.

He spent his career as a diesel mechanic and retired from the Teamsters. His passion was his family, his yard and hunting.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Harolena Wesley and husband Scott, Jeff Alexander and wife Lori and Kristina Alexander; grandchildren Candace Wesley, Kelsey Wesley, Brett Warren, Alexea Warren and Aaron Wesley; great-grandchildren Kyla and Owen; and his brother Lester “Butch” Alexander and wife Barbara.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Linda Wills and Donnie Lee Alexander.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 3 from 3-7 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 4 at 1 p.m. with visitation from noon until service time.
