Lip Sync Team Challenge tickets on sale Friday

The time is almost here for anyone planning to attend the inaugural Putnam County Lip Sync Team Challenge.

The event twill take place at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building on Saturday, May 11.

The Lip Sync Team Challenge is a local take on the lip sync battles popularized by Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” in which 12 teams of five members representing various local organizations will present their own choreographed take on a popular song.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 15 at the Putnam County Youth Development Commission office, 10-1/2 N. Jackson St., Greencastle.

Tickets are available during office hours, weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Cost is $50 per ticket or $400 for a table.

There will be no early reservations — tickets must be paid for on the date they’re purchased.

The 12 teams competing represent Area 30 Career Center, Cloverdale Community Schools, Endeavor Communications, Fillmore Elementary School, First National Bank, Gobin Memorial United Methodist Church, the Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce, Greencastle High School, Kirsch Family Dentistry, North Putnam Community Schools, Putnam County Hospital and RE/MAX Cornerstone.
