Finally Here

Thursday, March 14, 2019
After years of frustration following the closure of the Wendy’s fast food restaurant in 2014, the MaCaronis Grill officially opened to the public Thursday morning. Though the ribbon cutting was moved inside due to rain, present for the ceremony are (from left) waitresses Skyler Price, Charity Weaver and Mary DeLeon, Manager Eduber Ortiz, Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce Vice President Christina Payton and Chamber President Rick Dearwester. The new restaurant had a “soft” opening at the end of Feburary, and locals have since been treated to a variety of American-style food options. Owner Pedro Hernandez also owns the El Cantarito restaurant in Cloverdale.
