Coming Down

Thursday, March 14, 2019
Following a day of heavy rainfall and high winds in the area, a large ash tree spans the driveway of the Selvia residence on East Franklin Street after it was blown over Thursday afternoon. The family was not home at the time of the incident, but fortunately the Selvia’s neighbors were unhurt and no vehicles were damaged. Putnam County was under a tornado watch during the daytime hours, and was also under a wind advisory until 11 p.m. last night.

Glad no one was hurt and damage looks minimal.

Trees coming down can be a scary thing.
