Ruth Lee Vicars

Ruth Lee Vicars, 73, of Greencastle, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at Asbury Towers surrounded by her family.

Ruth was born in Elmhurst, Ill., on June 25, 1945, the daughter of Marvin Albert and Grace R (Loomis) Rusteberg.

She was a graduate of Fenton High School in Bensenville, Ill.

Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie Smith, (husband George), Greencastle; four grandchildren, Landon, Hunter and Grace Smith, and Hector Lezama; and a great-grandson, Arlo Oliver.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lara Vicars; and a brother, Marvin W. Rusteberg.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.

Family will receive friends at their home following services. Burial will take place in Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, Fla., at a later date.
