Dan Livingston, 82, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., passed away peacefully at his home on March 19, 2019.

Florida was the last of his 23 residences across seven states, beginning with his Bloomington, Ind., birth on Nov. 24, 1936.

His 40-plus year career in the trucking industry was marked by great personal gains and a well-respected legacy. He was proud to have been a 50-plus year member of the Ironton, Ohio, Masonic Lodge and a 32nd degree with the Valley of Cincinnati Chapter.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Coy Livingston and Clova (Livingston) Ferrand; his beloved brother and sister, John Hawkins and Evelyn Eaton, and (as infants) one brother and two sisters.

Dan is survived by his wife of 63-plus years, Sara Jane (Aldridge), who was at his side in his passing and in every day of their blessed life together; daughter, Kathy (Lenexa, Kan.); sons, Jerry (Dixon Springs, Tenn.) and Tom (Port St. Lucie, Fla.); five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Dan will be remembered as a strong Christian, a trucking pioneer, an honest friend and an amazing storyteller.

A celebration and visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 26 from 3-6 p.m. at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive Port St. Lucie, Fla.

A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, March 27 at 11 a.m. at White City Cemetery, 3800 Sunrise Blvd. Fort Pierce, Fla.
