Kindness Rewarded

For demonstrating not-so-random acts of kindness, Greencastle High School students Savannah Mattox and Madison Williams have been acknowledged as Character Education Program Star Students for February at GHS. Presenting $25 gift cards to the pair are Student Star co-sponsors GHS Assistant Principal Yolanda Goodpaster (left) and Lisa Duggan. Mattox and Williams were among 27 nominees for the monthly Student Star honor submitted by GHS faculty and staff. The $25 monthly award is funded by Balfour, the company which provides graduation items, including caps and gowns, to the high school.
