The 2019 Putnam County Playhouse season will start with auditions for the opening offering, "She Loves Me."

The musical, sponsored by First National Bank, will be presented on the main stage June 6-8 and June 12-15.

The plot of "She Loves Me" revolves around Budapest shop employees Georg Nowack and Amalia Balash who, despite being consistently at odds with each other at work, are unaware each is the other's secret pen pal because they met through lonely hearts ads.

In addition to the leads, Georg and Amalia, additional roles include Ilona Ritter and Steven Kodaly, co-workers in the shop, and shop owner Zoltan Maraczek. Other employees are Ladislav Sipos and Arpad Laslo, a teenage delivery boy.

A ensemble of three men and three women and a singing waiter are also sought.
