Out Like a Lion

Monday, April 1, 2019
Mother Nature celebrated April Fool’s Day a little early Saturday when more than an inch of puffy, wet snow was dumped on the Greencastle area, sticking to tree branches, bushes and utility lines, beginning about 5:45 p.m. Turning the Northwood Subdivision into a virtual Christmas card, the springtime snow developed after 50-degree temperatures early Saturday dropped into the lower 30s across central Indiana as March failed to go out like a lamb. Temperatures, however, are expected to hit the 60s by Wednesday with a high of 70 possible over the weekend.
