Silver Linings players return to nursing homes

Tuesday, April 23, 2019

The first performance of the Silver Linings theater group’s spring/summer plays will be at Hickory Creek at Sunset on Friday, April 26 at 2:30 p.m.

The group has four new plays. Two of them -- “King Arthur’s Socks” and “Yesterday” -- will be read on Friday. The other two will be performed at a later date.

The group has several more performances scheduled in May and June with dates and times to be announced.

All current members of the group are involved in one or more of the plays. Carol Moore, Linda Ford and Karen Smogor will read “King Arthur’s Socks.”

Newcomer Chris Wurster and Karen Sutherlin, who recently performed “Chekhov” at the Putnamn County Public Library, will read “Yesterday.”

The pre-show music may be a surprise, Director Kathy Stephan advised.

The public is always invited to Silver Linings’ performances.
