Larry Lee Leer

Larry Lee Leer, 79, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 as a result of injuries sustained in a fall.

Larry was born in Greencastle on May 15, 1939 the son of LeRoy and Flossie (Pulliam) Leer.

He was a 1958 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Mr. Leer worked for IBM and retired in 1993.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Joyce (Ewing) Leer; four children, Allison Leer (husband Tom Silvey), Greencastle, Beth Anne (Leer) Brown, Greencastle, Chris Leer, Indianapolis, and Julie Leer, Indianapolis; and a grandson, Tom Brown (wife Courtney) Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Kathleen Brown; and a brother Donald Leer.

A celebration of life will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 at the Putnam County Museum, 1105 N. Jackson St., Greencastle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Larry's memory to the Putnam County Museum.
