Karen Lynn McKinley

Karen Lynn McKinley, 67, Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at her residence.

Born, March 9, 1952 in Greensburg, Ind., she was the daughter of Don E. and Wilna (Konzelman) Hurst.

Karen graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from Ball State in 1974.

She was retired from River Valley Resources as the Work One Center Manager.

She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her mother, Wilna Hurst; two sons, Justin (Rhiannon) McKinley and Josh (Amber) McKinley; one brother, Dave (Fran) Hurst; and one sister, LuAnn (Chuck) Evens.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A funeral mass for Karen will be held at noon Saturday, May 4 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating.

A luncheon will follow the mass for family and friends to gather and share memories of Karen.

Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church Building Fund, the St. Jude's Children Hospital, the Champions of Youth in Greensburg or Animal Welfare Institute (AWI.com).
