“I am proud of the work of our corporation’s teachers and students,” Principal Jason Chew wrote in an email to North Putnam staff. “It takes a team effort, and the high school staff does not receive these awards without the diligent efforts of the entire school community.”
Chew also noted that no other neighboring high schools in Putnam County were included in the top 50.
“This is a great accomplishment for our entire staff, because the education of a child begins day one, year one, of school,” Superintendent Nicole Singer wrote to the Banner Graphic. “We commend our entire staff, as well as our parents, for their commitment to the education of the whole child.”
