Run in the Woods May 18 with Friends 5K at Lieber SRA

CLOVERDALE -- Over the river and through the woods, well not quite, but you can enjoy a run/walk in the woods with Friends at Lieber State Recreation Area near Cloverdale.

Runners and walkers will traverse a fairly level course through the woods and campgrounds at Lieber SRA. A unique setting for an early morning run or walk amid the flora and fauna. You may see deer, raccoons and other animals as you navigate the course over wooded trails.

All proceeds go to Friends of Lieber SRA to help fund its mission.

The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 18 at the pool in the park. The cost is $20 on or before May 1 and $25 thereafter.

Participants will receive a T-shirt and awards to winners of age divisions. Registration forms and online registration are available at: friendsoflieber.org/race. For more information, email: info@friendsoflieber.org.
