Third Greencastle Ivy Tech ASAP group graduates

Rod Brown, Ivy Tech vice chancellor of academic affairs, offers words of inspiration to ASAP students and their families during the college’s celebration event on campus. More than 100 people attended the May 2 ceremony. Ivy Tech Greencastle celebrated the completion of its third ASAP cohort. The program offers students a pathway to earn an associate’s degree in only 11 months.

Ivy Tech Community College – Greencastle celebrated the completion of its third cohort recently.

Campus Vice Chancellor Greg Cook, Ivy Tech Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs Rod Brown and former ASAP-Greencastle Director Emily Speer all addressed students, family and friends during the May 2 ceremony.

New ASAP Campus Director Jake Widner served as emcee. About 100 people attended the celebration.

ASAP, or the Associate Accelerated Degree Program, offers students an opportunity to earn an associate’s degree in 11 months and transfer as a junior to four-year institutions. Destinations for students in the third cohort include Indiana University, Indiana State University and the University of Indianapolis.

The 2019 Ivy Tech ASAP graduates are Adair Bock, Wes Lesko, James Upleger, Jake Hutcheson, Jessica Todd, Jenna Mills, Ashlee Byrer, Ryan Williams, Reuben Edwards and David Anter.
